As Sainsbury’s continue their support for Comic Relief, we continue to provide sustainable, reusable bags, sold alongside other merchandise, to raise money for the charity. This year the bags were manufactured using the HALT™ process which turns post-consumer plastic into a soft, durable fabric called r-PET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate). Each bag was made using five recycled plastic bottles. Three fun and colourful tote bag designs were produced, in keeping with the theme of the campaign.
