Working with designer Emma Bridgewater, we produced two types of shopping bags, using different types of r-Pet material, made from recycled plastic bottles. A large, fashionable bag and convienient, fold away pouch bag were both manufactured feauturing Emma’s iconic polk dot designs in two colours, a bright and bold purple and a classic cream and lilac. The bags are part of Waitrose’s commitment to looking at innovative ways to cut out plastic waste and to enable their customers to do the same. The bags also rasied money for The Prince’s Countryside Trust with 10% of the price being donated to the charity.
